Ring Size Guide (International Conversion & How-to)

Getting the right size is essential. Below are three easy measuring methods plus a handy US size chart (diameter & circumference) to help you find your perfect fit.

1) Three Measuring Methods

  • Paper/String Method (most common)

    1. Wrap a thin strip around your finger and mark the overlap; 2) Measure the length with a ruler (circumference); 3) Match the value to the chart below.
      Tip: Measure during your usual wear time (fingers are slightly larger in the evening).

  • Existing Ring Method
    Measure the inner diameter of a ring that fits well (mm) and refer to the chart.

  • Printable Sizer (optional)
    Use a printed ring sizer to compare or test by holes.

2) US Size Chart (Common 5–13)

3) Picking the Best Fit

  • Prominent knuckle: choose a size that slides over the knuckle but doesn’t spin;

  • Wide bands: often half-size up feels better;

  • Temperature effect: fingers are tighter in summer, looser in winter—evening measurements are more realistic.

4) FAQs

  • Slightly loose? Use a silicone ring adjuster or get minor resizing for silver/gold bands.

  • Buying a gift? Choose adjustable or open-shank designs.
